Incogni vs OneRep: Price, Coverage, and Independent Test Data

Both are managed data-removal subscriptions. This page compares what each charges, how its price has changed, what it says it covers, and what independent tests measured, using only figures we could verify on October 23, 2026.

Disclosure: OfflistMe, which publishes this page, sells a one-time self-serve alternative to both services. Neither provider is ranked; every figure links to its source.

Quick answer

Incogni costs $95.88 a year (Standard) to $179.88 (Unlimited) and OneRep costs $99.96 a year (Individual) to $191.40 (Individual Pro), for one person billed annually (checked October 23, 2026). Incogni's entry plan is $4.08 a year cheaper. Incogni says it covers 420 data broker sites (Unlimited adds custom requests to 3,000+ more sites); OneRep says it covers 317 to 876 sites (Pro adds 559 non-public data brokers). Each counts different things, so the numbers are not like-for-like. In a 2025 peer-reviewed study, Incogni removed an average of 76.6% of found records in a one-month subscription (four-service average 48.2%). OneRep was not part of either independent test (Consumer Reports 2024, PoPETs 2025).

Incogni vs OneRep: the verified numbers

Prices and coverage below were read from each provider's own pages in a real browser and cross-checked against a second source (checkout, a second provider page, or an Internet Archive capture). Removal rates come only from independent tests: Consumer Reports (2024) and a peer-reviewed Proceedings on Privacy Enhancing Technologies study (2025). Provider claims are labelled as claims.

Where OfflistMe is strongest

A privacy-first, user-controlled alternative to managed subscriptions

If your priorities are data minimization, direct control, and no recurring commitment, OfflistMe has a clear workflow advantage. The trade-off is equally clear: you review, send, verify, and follow up yourself.

See the self-serve workflow →

You keep the sending decision

Review the route and request draft, then send from your own inbox or use the provider route yourself.

Draft details stay local

The information used to prepare an opt-out draft stays in your browser instead of becoming an OfflistMe opt-out profile.

No automatic renewal

Paid access is a one-time purchase. You decide if and when another pass is useful instead of being renewed by default.

1,034 cataloged data brokers

The public US/global catalog records routes across data brokers; eligibility and outcomes still vary by provider and law.

These are workflow and data-boundary differences, not a claim that any service guarantees acceptance, timing, or permanent removal.

OfflistMe is a different product: it drafts the requests and you send them, so the price is not a like-for-like comparison with a managed service.

The service compared on this page was not part of this test.

  • Small, non-random sample: four participants per service; the authors do not consider the results statistically significant.
  • Services received only name, current address, and date of birth, and participants did not answer follow-up prompts or upload IDs.
  • Profiles were checked on the page where they were first found; reappearance was not tested.
  • Prices and products have changed since 2023-24; Incogni and OneRep were not tested.

OfflistMe was not tested either. It helps you send the same kind of direct requests the manual group sent, but this study does not measure OfflistMe.

In the same study, Kanary claimed 317 brokers but found an average of 14.6 records per user. A longer list does not by itself mean more of your records get removed.

Incogni vs OneRep: frequently asked questions

Is Incogni or OneRep cheaper?

Incogni is cheaper to start: Incogni costs $95.88 a year (Standard) to $179.88 (Unlimited) and OneRep costs $99.96 a year (Individual) to $191.40 (Individual Pro) for one person on annual billing. Incogni also sells month-to-month: $15.98/mo (Standard). OneRep also sells month-to-month: $14.95/mo (Individual), $29.95/mo (Individual Pro). Prices were read from each provider's own pricing page on October 23, 2026; check renewal and tax at checkout.

Which covers more sites, Incogni or OneRep?

Incogni says it covers 420 data broker sites (Unlimited adds custom requests to 3,000+ more sites); OneRep says it covers 317 to 876 sites (Pro adds 559 non-public data brokers). Each counts different things, so the numbers are not like-for-like. These are the providers' own counts and definitions, not measured results: a 2025 peer-reviewed study found that services' broker lists overlap by only 0.21 on average (Jaccard), so a bigger number does not mean the same sites plus more.

Have Incogni and OneRep been tested independently?

In a 2025 peer-reviewed study, Incogni removed an average of 76.6% of found records in a one-month subscription (four-service average 48.2%). OneRep was not part of either independent test (Consumer Reports 2024, PoPETs 2025). Both studies had small samples and test conditions that differ from a real account, so treat them as dated evidence, not a guarantee.

Do Incogni and OneRep offer a free option?

Incogni: free exposure scan, no account needed. OneRep: 5-day free trial on paid plans.

Is there an alternative to Incogni and OneRep without a subscription?

Yes, if you are willing to send the requests yourself. OfflistMe sells one-time access that drafts opt-out requests for you to review and send from your own email; it does not send requests on your behalf or monitor for reappearance the way Incogni and OneRep describe. In Consumer Reports' test, manual opt-outs removed 70% of found profiles within a week, but that study did not test OfflistMe.
