The Story
It started with guilt.
We didn't set out to build a privacy tool. We set out to stop feeling like the villains in someone else's inbox.
For years, we ran a high-scale cold email agency. We weren't just observing the problem; we were living in the center of it. Every morning, we'd open our laptops to a barrage of messages that were impossible to dismiss:"Where did you get my data?"
"How do I make this stop?"
"Please, just take me off the list."
So we started researching how to actually help. What we found was embarrassing. There was no simple, honest way to get off the lists.
To opt out, a person had to find hidden privacy emails, draft legal requests, and repeat the process for every single platform. It could take an entire weekend. Most people just gave up and accepted the spam.
The "solutions" were part of the problem
The existing tools made us angrier. They ask for more sensitive data, your government ID, your passport, your SSN, just to delete the old data. Then they lock you into a $200/year subscription. It's a privacy trap disguised as a solution.
We realized people don't want another app to manage. They don't want another password to remember. They just want to send a legal request and get on with their lives.
So we built the tool we wished we could send to everyone who ever replied "unsubscribe" to our emails.
The Anti-SaaS Approach
We built OfflistMe on a radical idea: What if a privacy tool actually respected your privacy? No accounts. No recurring billing. No data stored on our servers. Ever.
- No Account Required
- No Subscription Trap
- No Data Stored on Servers
- Direct Control (Sent from YOU)
You select the platforms. We generate the legal framework. You hit send. It’s the fastest, most direct way to reclaim your privacy.
What we are NOT
- Another data-hungry middleman
- A lead-scraping tool in disguise
- A monthly billing machine
What we ARE
- A privacy-first utility
- A legal friction reducer
- A tool for direct action
A Note from the Founders
"Look, we're not trying to 'disrupt' anything. We just think it's insane that exercising your legal rights requires a passport scan and a $20/month subscription. So we made it simple."
"The code runs in your browser. The email sends from your outbox. We never see your data. If you use this once, reclaim your name, and never come back, we've done our job. That's the whole point."
