The Story
It started with guilt.
We didn't set out to build a privacy tool. We set out to stop feeling like the villains in someone else's inbox.
For years, we ran a high-scale cold email agency. We weren't just observing the problem; we were living in the center of it. Every morning, we'd open our laptops to a barrage of messages that were impossible to dismiss:"Where did you get my data?"
"How do I make this stop?"
"Please, just take me off the list."
So we started researching how to actually help. What we found was embarrassing. There was no simple, honest way to get off the lists.
To opt out, a person may need to find a provider's privacy contact, follow its verification steps, and repeat the process for each provider. The time and effort depend on the provider, the information involved, and the request route.
The "solutions" were part of the problem
Existing services use different request models. Some may request identity verification, and subscription or one-time pricing varies by provider and plan. Compare the provider's current privacy notice and terms before sharing information or paying.
We realized people don't want another app to manage. They don't want another password to remember. They just want to send a legal request and get on with their lives.
So we built the tool we wished we could send to everyone who ever replied "unsubscribe" to our emails.

We built OfflistMe on a radical idea: What if a privacy tool actually respected your privacy? No account is required for request drafting. Draft details stay in your browser and are not sent to OfflistMe as an opt-out profile; checkout is a separate payment and access flow.
